I wrote three complete drafts that were quite different trying to originally apply the concept of ambiguous loss to this stress-coping developmental theory. In the earlier drafts I tried modeling the conservative religious- homosexual stressor situation. Later I tried modeling applying the same model to caregiver burden. The latter paper is given here and the former is elsewhere on this website. Hopefully with time I will be able to provide a rough overview of what ambiguous loss is and how it relates to irresolvable stressor situations on this website.
